Actually the remix has got potential. I think it's interesting how it recreates a bit of the chorus's original suspense curves. I think it could have done more of that and gone further, and become more aggressive. Some parts do add some good energy, though.
My criticism is that this one (and so many other remixes), is exclusively relying on the chorus. That makes it a bit repetitive, predictive. There is not that much development.
In any respect, it could have taken things further. It's too tame.
