!Music Listening to Polyvinyl Craftsmen (Transmission 310) this afternoon -- pretty much electronica of various strains. Pushed a few buttons for me and well worth a listen. One of the highlights -- suddenly I was in The Arches nightclub in Sheffield freaking out to this. Fact: The Arches had the best mugs of tea I've ever had in a nightclub anywhere.

And like any era looking back, how the music looks depends on where you were, who you were with, how chemically altered you were and what else was going on in your life. I look back at that time with great warmth and this tune did a Proust on me.
